In 1979, Dr. Hendra Adidarma - Dipl. Chemiker established a small paint factory with only 10 staff members and called it PD. Propan Chemicals. During the early periods, activities of the factory were focused on the development of wood finishing systems. Since then, a series of innovative products have been developed. The company, which was later named PT Propan Raya I.C.C, grew rapidly because of its readiness to meet the growing market demand. It was a humble beginning which resulted in a great success.
